Chesterfield CAMRA members gathered for the presentation of the Spring Pub of the Year 2025 award on the 15th April. THE DERBY TUP on Whittington Moor has always been a popular real ale pub but has been taken to the next level under the guidance of new managers Chan & Lisa. This wonderful traditional pub, just up from Chesterfield FC’s ground has been redecorated and sports a new sign too. Chan & Lisa took over the Tup last year and bring with them years of experience, having run pubs all over the district.
On the cask ale front, they stock beers from local breweries and a few from further afield.
